Spin a Superhero Hero and Villain Tier List

Keep what prints Coins. Fuse the rest — never your only Sacred.

Hero Tier List

This Spin a Superhero hero tier list ranks plot income and replaceability, not cinematic power. Units are comic-inspired heroes and villains. Official thumbnails already name two banners with odds: Apex (1 in 100K) and Sacred (1 in 500K). The TRANSCENDENT code strongly suggests a rarity at or above that ceiling. We rank with those labels, then tell you how to apply them to pads.

Swap using how to play. Spend using the dice tier list. Names and Index hunting live on best heroes and the rarity index.

S-tier — do not Fuse, do not shop-sell

Sacred and anything the Index marks Transcendent. Official art treats Sacred as a 1 in 500K event. If you roll one, it occupies a pad until a strictly better unique lands. Villain or hero does not matter at this height; the pad income jump is the point.

If Trading is on, a duplicate Sacred is Trade bait, not Fuse food. Read Fuse before you even hover the machine.

A-tier — pad anchors

Apex (1 in 100K) and the best Legend-tier units you cannot replace this session. Apex is common enough to appear in marketing and rare enough that you should still treat a first copy as a keeper. Fill remaining pads with the highest rarity you actually own, even if the costume is a villain you do not like.

A-tier duplicates: keep one, Trade one, Fuse only if you are drowning in copies and the recipe is proven.

B-tier — honest workers

Mid rarities that beat Commons and still drop from Golden/Diamond Dice. These are the units that staff Floor 3 while you hunt Apex. They are allowed to die to Fuse once every pad is B or better.

If a B-tier is your plot’s best unit, it is S-tier for you until Dice improve. Tier lists that ignore account context are how beginners vendor their only Epic.

C-tier — filler

Commons and low Rares. Mandatory on empty pads. Mandatory to sell or Fuse once a better body exists. Never leave a C-tier hole because you are “waiting for Sacred.” Offline Coins do not respect your taste.

D-tier — inventory clutter

Duplicates of C-tier while pads are already full. Sell for Dice Coins or feed Fuse. Do not keep a museum of Commons. Index will remember them.

Heroes versus villains

The official blurb asks if you will collect unique heroes and villains. If a given rarity has both, place the one that shows higher pad income in Index or in the placement preview. If they are equal, pick the model you will not accidentally Fuse because you dislike the skin. Visual dislike is a real Fuse risk.

PGG’s codes article jokes about hunting Invincible. Treat named cameos as collection goals. Unless Index shows a unique multiplier, a named unit of rarity X ranks with other X units.

Pad layout

Put S and A on pads you can see and click. Put B on new floors. Put C only as temporary staff. After every Dice dump, walk the plot once: worst pad versus newest roll. That single comparison is the tier list in action.

When the list is wrong for you

  • You are a collector: ignore C/D advice and keep Index uniques.
  • You are one Rebirth from a wipe: sell more aggressively; see rebirth.
  • You just unlocked a floor: C-tier becomes mandatory staff for a night.

Dice that roll these units: dice guide. Codes that gift Dice: codes. Patch context: updates.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, dice, rebirths, and plot income.

Is Sacred better than Apex in Spin a Superhero?

Yes as a banner. Sacred is marketed at 1 in 500K versus Apex at 1 in 100K. Place Sacred first, then Apex.

Should I Fuse extra Apex units?

Trade if you can. Fuse only as a last sink. Never Fuse your last Apex. See Fuse and Trading.

Do villains rank below heroes?

Only if their pad income is lower at the same rarity. Otherwise they share the row.

I only have Commons. What is my tier list?

Commons on every pad. That is S-tier for an empty plot. Then follow Getting Started.
