Spin a Superhero Tier Lists
Income first, flex second — Apex and Sacred are the headline rarities.
Tier lists in Spin a Superhero are income lists wearing capes. The game does not run arenas. Pads print Coins. A unit is S-tier when it earns enough to justify the pad it occupies, not when it looks like a movie poster. Use this hub to pick the right ranking page, then jump to the specialist lists.
- Hero tier list — what to keep on pads
- Dice tier list — what to buy with Coins and Gems
For names, odds, and Index hunting, use players and the rarity index. For how to actually swap units, stay in how to play.
Ranking rules we use
- Coins per pad beats cosmetics.
- Rarity is a proxy, not a law. Higher rarity usually earns more, which is why official art shouts Apex 1 in 100K and Sacred 1 in 500K.
- Uniqueness matters for Fuse/Trade. A unique Sacred is never fodder even if a future patch adds a stronger banner.
- Availability matters. A Diamond-roll Epic you can replace is less precious than a Phantom Sacred.
- Patch honesty. Floor 3, Fuse, and Trading changed inventory value. We re-rank after those systems, not before.
We do not publish fake DPS tables. Chill Games has not posted a public spreadsheet. When the Index shows a new rarity word (Transcendent is implied by the TRANSCENDENT code), that word goes above Sacred until proven otherwise.
S-tier thinking in one glance
Units: Transcendent (if present) > Sacred > Apex > lower banners you cannot replace this week.
Dice: Phantom (late) > Devil/Heaven > Diamond > Golden > Regular.
Consumables: Prismatic Potion on a high-Dice dump is S. On a Regular roll it is D.
If that is all you needed, you can leave. The child pages argue the edges: when an Epic stays because Fuse food is plentiful, when Golden Dice still win because pads are empty, when a villain underperforms a hero of the same rarity.
How to use a tier list without ruining a plot
Do not vendor your whole floor because a row moved. Swap one pad at a time. Fill holes first. Read Getting Started if you are still in hour one — you do not need a tier list, you need density.
Collectors can ignore income ranks and chase Index. That is a valid mode. Tag it. Hybrid players should income-rank pads and Index-rank the backpack.
Why two lists, not one
Heroes and Dice solve different wallets. Ranking Spider-Man next to Golden Dice is how wikis become useless. Buy Dice with the dice list. Place bodies with the hero list. Pets are a Luck tool, not a pad — they live on Pets and Luck.
Updates that shuffle ranks
- Floor 3 added pads, which makes mid-tier units more valuable (more slots to fill).
- Fuse and Trading made duplicates valuable as recipes and offers, which raises the value of “almost S” copies.
When the next patch names a rarity or a Dice, this hub will point at a new row instead of pretending the old S-tier is immortal.
