Pets and Luck in Spin a Superhero

Pets are the Luck engine in Spin a Superhero. The official experience text says hatch Pets to increase your luck. That is the whole design: Pets do not replace a hero on a pad. They make the next Dice roll less likely to insult you. Players who hatch before filling pads slow their Coin slope and then blame the gacha.

When to open the Pets button

The Pets icon sits on the left under Rebirth. Open it when:

• Every visible pad has a unit
• You have leftover Coins after buying the Dice you actually need
• You are about to dump Golden, Diamond, Heaven, or Devil Dice

If you still have empty pads, buy Dice, not eggs. Offline Coins from a Common beat a Luck pet watching an empty floor.

What Luck actually changes

Luck weights the rarity table. Official thumbnails already print brutal headlines: Apex at 1 in 100K, Sacred at 1 in 500K. Pets and potions exist because those denominators are real enough to market. Luck will not make Regular Dice behave like Phantom Dice. It will make a Diamond session slightly less painful.

Stack Luck sources on purpose:

1. Equip the highest Luck Pets you own.
2. Drink a Prismatic Potion (LUCK2) right before the dump.
3. Spin the highest Dice you planned for that session.
4. Do not walk away mid-stack to hatch more Pets. Finish the dump, then hatch.

Hatch economy

Eggs (or the live Pets shop equivalent) should be a sink for surplus Coins, not the first sink. A good rhythm:

• Login → claim codes and Quests
• Refill any empty pads
• Buy the Dice for this session
• Hatch with remainder
• Equip new Pets if Luck went up
• Then spin

If a Pet shop sells extra equip slots for Robux, treat that like other tycoons: more Luck Pets equipped at once is the only slot worth considering, and only after you have seen the price. The live roster (+1 Pet Slot at 499 Robux, x2 / x20 Egg Luck, Fast Hatch) is on game passes.

Potions versus Pets

LUCK2’s Prismatic Potion is a burst. Pets are a baseline. Bursts belong on stacks. Baselines belong always-on. Drinking a potion because you hatched a new Pet and feel lucky is superstition. Drinking it because you have 25 Golden Dice from LUCKY is a plan.

If you have no potion and no high Dice, do not sit in Pets hoping. Go generate Coins. Floors and a full plot do more for your next luck session than staring at hatch animations.

Pets and Fuse / Trading

Fuse wants surplus units, not surplus eggs. Trading wants duplicates. Pets help you roll those duplicates faster. They are upstream. If Fuse is unlocked, a Luck session into Devil Dice (FUSE code) is a coherent evening. If Trading is unlocked, a Luck session into Heaven Dice (TRADING code) is the matching evening. What not to do

• Hatch through your last Coins with three empty pads.
• Unequip a Luck Pet to equip a cosmetic.
• Spend Gems on hatch skips before you understand Gem Shop Dice.
• Trust a script that says it auto-hatches safely — read scripts.
• Compare your Luck number to a YouTuber on Rebirth 28 with Phantom Dice. Different layer.

Index tracks heroes and villains. Pets are a parallel collection. Complete Index because you like it, not because it raises Luck. Luck is the Pet panel. Collection is the Index panel.
