Getting Started in Spin a Superhero

A first-hour plan for the Roblox RNG tycoon from Chill Games.

Getting Started

Spin a Superhero went live on Roblox on 13 July 2026. You load into a small server (eight players), claim a plot, and immediately meet the loop: buy Dice, spin a hero or villain, place it on a pad, collect Coins, repeat. Characters keep earning while you are offline, which is the whole point of filling pads instead of staring at the roll animation.

This beginner page is the first-hour checklist. It assumes you have never opened Store. If you already have a floor full of Apex units, skip to rebirth or the hero tier list.

Minute 0–5: group, HUD, codes

Join the Chill Games Roblox group before you touch Dice. Codes sit inside Store and the panel is labelled Requires Group. Copy the live list from the Codes Hub and follow how to redeem. HEROES is the Coin injection. LUCKY and GROUP are Dice. FLOOR3, TRANSCENDENT, and RELEASE are Gems. LUCK2 is a Prismatic Potion — do not drink it on your first Regular Dice.

Learn the HUD while the toasts land:

  • Left: Store, Rebirth, Pets, Index
  • Right: Friends, Rewards, Quests, Settings
  • Corner: Gems, Coins, Friend Boost
  • Plot: numbered pads along the floor

If Store is missing, the UI has not finished loading. Wait. Do not rebirth out of curiosity.

Minute 5–20: fill every pad

Buy the cheapest Dice you can mash. Place every unit. A Common on a pad beats an empty slot, because empty slots produce nothing while you are in school or asleep. The official description is blunt: earn by placing characters or selling them. Selling is for duplicates and strict upgrades, not for panic cash.

When a new roll is worse than your weakest pad, sell it. When it is better, swap and sell the leftover. That is the entire early economy. How to play expands the sell-versus-keep rules.

Do not hatch Pets yet unless codes dumped you a mountain of Coins after pads are full. Pets raise Luck; they do not replace a missing unit. See Pets and Luck when you have spare income.

Minute 20–45: first upgrades that matter

Open Index and note rarity names the game actually uses. Official thumbnails already advertise Apex (1 in 100K) and Sacred (1 in 500K). You will not see those on Regular Dice in the first sitting. That is normal. Your job is a complete floor and a Coin slope, not a thumbnail unit.

Spend Gems only after you have looked at the Gem Shop twice. Early Gem traps are cosmetics and skips you do not need. If the shop sells Luck or Dice, compare them to simply buying more Golden Dice with Coins. The dice guide is the spend page.

Quests and Rewards on the right are free. Claim them every time you remember. They are slower than codes but they do not expire in one afternoon.

Minute 45–60: do not rebirth yet

Rebirth is visible from minute one. Ignore it until pads are maxed and extra Coins feel useless. Wiping a half-full plot for a tiny multiplier is how people restart three times in a night. When the time comes, use rebirth and the rebirth checklist.

Floors, Fuse, and Trading are mid-game. Floor 3 exists (the FLOOR3 code is the receipt). Fuse and Trading have their own codes and a patch page. You do not need them to finish hour one.

Controls and platforms

Spin a Superhero is a UI tycoon more than an action game. On PC you click Store and pads. On mobile you tap the same icons; landscape helps. Console uses the virtual cursor. There is no complex combos list. The skill is economy, not movement. If you cannot click a pad, another player is not blocking you — you are zoomed wrong or the Store modal is still open. Close Store with the red X.

Friend Boost in the corner scales plot income when friends share the server. It does not change Dice odds. Invite a friend after your pads are full, not instead of filling them.

First-hour mistakes

  • Redeeming codes without the group, then assuming they expired — they did not. Read how to redeem.
  • Drinking LUCK2 on a single cheap Dice.
  • Rebirthing with empty pads.
  • Selling your only Epic because a YouTube thumbnail showed Sacred.
  • Buying Robux Phantom Dice before Rebirth 28 if that lock is still in your shop.
  • Leaving the game with three empty pads. Offline income cannot collect what you never placed.

Where to go next

Hour two belongs to how to play and dice. When you start seeing Apex or Sacred on the Index, compare them with best heroes and the rarity index. Patch context lives on updates. Official group, Discord, and the Roblox experience page are collected on official links.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, dice, rebirths, and plot income.

Is Spin a Superhero free to play?

Yes. It is a free Roblox experience. Dice, Pets, and some shop skips can cost Coins, Gems, or Robux, but you can fill a plot without paying.

What should I do first after joining?

Join Chill Games, redeem codes, buy cheap Dice, and fill every pad before you touch Rebirth or Pets.

Do units earn while I am offline?

Yes. Placed characters keep generating Coins after you leave. Empty pads generate nothing, which is why density beats a single rare.

When do I unlock Floor 3, Fuse, and Trading?

They are progression unlocks tied to rebirths and patches. See floors and Fuse after your first complete plot.
